Selling Property in Queensland? Be Ready for 1st August 2025.

From 1 August 2025, all contracts for the sale of residential property in Queensland must include a Seller’s Disclosure Statement if the contract is dated on or after this date. This important change is designed to improve transparency for buyers and reduce the risk of disputes during the conveyancing process.

What is a Sellers Disclosure Statement?

It’s a mandatory document provided by the seller before the buyer signs the contract. The statement discloses key information about the property that could influence the buyer’s decision.
